Job description

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer with strong experience in cloud-based application development, data engineering, and backend technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Node.js, AWS services, PySpark, SQL optimization, and PostgreSQL database management., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and data pipelines

  • Build and optimize cloud-native solutions using AWS services
  • Develop ETL/data processing workflows using PySpark and AWS Glue
  • Optimize PostgreSQL databases and SQL query performance
  • Implement APIs, integrations, and workflow automation solutions
  • Support deployment, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams in an Agile environment

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong experience with:
  • JavaScript
  • Node.js
  • Node-RED
  • Python / PySpark
  • Apache Spark
  • SQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services:
  • AWS Glue
  • Lambda
  • S3
  • RDS
  • EventBridge
  • Step Functions
  • Experience with:
  • Query optimization, indexing, and partitioning
  • Docker and containerized environments
  • Virtual environment management
  • Strong understanding of backend development and cloud-native architectures
  • Experience working in Agile development environments, * Federal Government project experience
  • Active Public Trust Clearance, * Bachelor’s (Required), * AWS: 4 years (Required)
