Job description

Reporting to the Global Head of Legislation, as part of Global Editorial Operations (GEO), the Global Legislation AI Content Optimization Lead drives AI-first transformation for legislative content across Global Editorial Operations. The role defines and implements the strategy for AI-assisted content creation, quality enhancement, workflow optimization, and efficiency at scale as well as leading the increase of AI-efficiencies in everyday tasks across the group. Working across North America, UK, Asia-Pacific and other key markets, the Lead partners closely with Product, Technology, Editorial people leaders and business stakeholders to embed advanced AI capabilities into editorial processes, ensuring content is accurate, compliant, consistent, AI-ready and aligned with LexisNexis’ digital first ambitions., * Define and deliver the global AI content optimization strategy for legislative and regulatory content, ensuring alignment with editorial, product and technology transformation priorities

  • Lead global ideation, requirements gathering and prioritization cross the group for AI-enabled content generation, summarization, enrichment, classification and structural optimization, making recommendations as to cost, benefits, and implementation to the Global Head of Legislation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, editorial managers and project management to translate ideas into scalable roadmap deliverables
  • Oversee the design, testing and global deployment of AI-driven editorial tools and workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing technologies and platforms
  • Develop and maintain global standards and guidelines for AI-generated or AI-optimized legislative content, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and copyright alignment
  • Champion AI-first editorial practices, helping teams adopt new tooling, improve editorial decision-making and reduce manual work through automation
  • Support the development of metrics frameworks for AI-enabled content quality, workflow performance, model behavior and customer impact
  • Use data to report insights, outcomes and performance to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing visibility on effectiveness, risks and opportunities
  • Keep abreast of market trends, LLM technologies, emerging NLP capabilities and competitive intelligence, translating innovation into practical editorial applications
  • Work with editorial teams globally to develop the necessary skills to adopt AI best practice and support capability building to develop a digitally mature, AI-enabled operation

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in content, publishing, legal editorial, product development or project management within legislative or regulatory domains
  • Extensive experience of legal content across codified and common law systems
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI, LLMs, automation or NLP within content or workflow optimization contexts
  • Track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and to budget in a global environment
  • High proficiency in data analysis, performance measurement and insight reporting
  • Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across teams and time zones
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation, operational realities and business outcomes Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable deliverables
  • AI fluency including prompt design, model-aware thinking and understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across global teams
  • Ability to lead through influence, driving adoption of new technologies and ways of working
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to adapt quickly to evolving priorities
  • Experience in agile delivery; ability to work effectively within iterative delivery environments

Benefits & conditions

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
