Job description
A prominent aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Systems Engineer in the greater Baltimore, Maryland area.
Baltimore, Maryland Job Opening
- Assign resources to production and development programs as needed.
- Develop and manage the systems engineering team through training, assignments, and mentoring.
- Support research and development activities by participating in design reviews.
- Communicate with stakeholders on topics affecting business and engineering teams.
- Assist with yearly budget and resource planning and monthly reviews of each.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline required.
- At least 10 years of engineering experience.
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of aerospace components such as nacelles, engine build ups, or aerostructures.
- Previous experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts.
