Job description

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design and build innovative cloud-based solutions while collaborating with a global team of engineers within the Enterprise API Platform team. This role focuses on developing scalable APIs, deploying cloud-native applications, and ensuring platform reliability in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

You will work as part of a diverse, multi-functional team that blends technical and business expertise, operating with a strong emphasis on innovation, transparency, and teamwork. The team believes in empowering engineers to take ownership and deliver impactful solutions using modern cloud technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong Java expertise with experience building, configuring, and deploying applications in public cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience developing user interfaces using the React framework.
  • Solid understanding of REST API principles with hands-on experience designing and developing APIs.
  • Experience implementing OAuth authentication and authorization flows.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Helm, SonarQube, GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying APIs using Helm charts.
  • Experience building and maintaining highly available, resilient platforms.
  • Ability to design and automate processes for provisioning, upgrading, and restoring cloud resources.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving production issues.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder influencing skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience developing APIs and tools using Golang.
  • Familiarity with event-driven and queue-based systems such as SQS for real-time data processing.
  • Experience using Gen-AI developer tools (e.g., Copilot) to improve development efficiency and productivity., * A strong culture of openness, transparency, and continuous learning
