Job description

You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing applications that help power one of the region’s largest public transportation organizations.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise software applications.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Develop custom applications and enhance existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
  • Build and maintain web applications using Microsoft’s .NET technologies.
  • Develop and support APIs and web services.
  • Work closely with business leaders, end users, and IT teams.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices.
  • Recommend technology improvements that increase efficiency and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience with:
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • C#
  • .NET
  • ASP.NET
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience developing web-based applications and APIs.
  • Strong SQL development experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.

Preferred Experience

  • .NET 5/6+
  • Entity Framework
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL
