We are seeking a GIS Software Engineer to join a growing team focused on developing, supporting, and enhancing enterprise GIS solutions. This individual will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and operational support groups to build and maintain scalable GIS applications and integrations. • Build medium-complexity software solutions utilizing modern coding standards, development methodologies, and best practices.
• Develop and support applications using .NET, JavaScript, and GIS-focused technologies.
• Create and maintain automation workflows using Python, ArcPy, REST APIs, JSON, and related technologies.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable system designs and software solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Leads, UI/UX Designers, and Project Managers to deliver solutions on schedule.
• Participate in backlog refinement, story estimation, technical design reviews, and sprint planning activities.
• Perform unit testing and support automated testing initiatives to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, database, and production support issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including system designs, support procedures, workflows, and knowledge articles.
• Support ongoing production operations, issue resolution, maintenance activities, and enhancement requests.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing across the organization.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or similar role within a GIS-focused environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET development.
• Strong experience with JavaScript development.
• Experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Working knowledge of Esri technologies, including:

• Exposure to AI/ML, GeoAI, remote sensing, imagery analytics, LiDAR, or predictive analytics solutions.
