Job description
The Software Developers (Data Integration Specialist) shall develop and utilize automated tools to enhance data integration services and implement standardization practices within the integration processes. Additionally, the Software Developers shall work with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) products, enhance existing data integration projects, and develop new vendor solutions. Troubleshooting secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) for data connections is also a key responsibility of this position.
Requirements
Security-cleared Professional: An active Top Secret (TS) Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Education and Experience: You have a Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of related experience in development with the following:
- Web services, including Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Representational State Transfer (REST) protocols.
- Background in Software Procedural Languages (SPL), specifically Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) and Transact-Structured Query Language (T-SQL).
- Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, C, C Sharp (C#), and .NET
- Database experience with Oracle, Postgres, Microsoft Access, MySQL, Sybase, Firebird database software, c-tree, ACE, SQL Developer, and other relational databases.
- Experience transforming languages and schemas, including XML, Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), XML Schema Definition (XSD), and Document Type Definition (DTD), is required.
- Knowledge of data standards and data validation tools, as well as experience with SFTP for data connections.
- Knowledge and understanding of law enforcement (LE) data and IEPD specifications.
