Application Support Analyst

Insight Global is looking for an Application Support Analyst for one of its largest financial clients in Chicago. They will work as a Level 2 MAPS(Multi Asset Platform Sales) Application Support Analyst for all Markets LOB’s located in Chicago. The FICC Risk support role requires someone who can work in high pressure trading environment and assimilate information from multiple sources quickly. The role requires a good problem solver, and someone who can adhere to strict procedures and guidelines which include incident, service request and change management

2-3 years of Application Support experience

Strong scripting skills in Python, Java or Perl - preferably Python

Intermediate knowledge of SQL(Multi-table joins, grouping results, writing simple queries)

Experience with Incident, Problem and Release Management

Experience within Linux or Unix OS Experience with application monitoring tools (ITRS)
