Industrial IT Specialist

Insight Global is looking for an Industrial IT SupportSpecialist supporting a specialty polymer manufacturing client sitting in Augusta, GA. They will be responsiblefor supporting various industrial IT equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed, troubleshooting & developing HMI’s & PLC’s, providing training to users on newly installed and updated systems, and identifying project and application requirements. The Manufacturing Execution System is the interface between the equipment and the DCS (Digital Control System), and engineers use the DCS to pull equipment data.

The current team is made up of 3 DCS Engineers and 2 Industrial IT Support Specialists.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (open to Associate’s with more experience)

4-10 years of related experience

2+ years experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Developing PLC’s and HMI’s

Managing HMI Applications (WonderWare) Experience with specific MES System Aveva PI or Aspen InfoPlus.21

Knowledge of network connectivity, integration, configuration, and protocols
