We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled ServiceNow Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into scalable system designs utilizing UML diagrams and architecture principles.
- Develop comprehensive integration strategies using APIs such as RESTful services, SOAP, and WCF to connect ServiceNow with diverse enterprise systems including Salesforce, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Drive cloud-based implementations leveraging AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms to enhance system scalability and resilience.
- Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Git for continuous integration and deployment of ServiceNow applications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC), system security, identity & access management, and application performance tuning.
- Design and oversee scalable distributed systems employing microservices architecture, containerization with Docker or Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure management.
- Maintain high standards for documentation using UML diagrams, design patterns, and system documentation to facilitate ongoing support and future enhancements.
- Promote agile development methodologies to accelerate project delivery while maintaining quality standards across all phases of solution development.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect or similar role with extensive hands-on expertise in enterprise application architecture.
- Strong background in software development using JavaScript, Angular, React, C#,.NET frameworks, Python or Java for custom integrations and enhancements.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts including cloud architecture design for scalable distributed systems on AWS or Azure platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB alongside traditional SQL databases like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
- Familiarity with web services protocols including RESTful API, SOAP, AJAX; experience integrating diverse enterprise applications via APIs.
- Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Ember.js, Ext JS for building intuitive user interfaces within ServiceNow or related platforms.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments utilizing version control tools such as Git or SVN; familiar with CI/CD automation tools like Jenkins or Maven.
- Strong understanding of system design principles including scalability, high availability, fault tolerance and security best practices in cloud infrastructure environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear strategies for stakeholders at all levels.
