Solutions Software Field Application Engineer

Job Description: As a Solutions Software Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of our software solutions with customer hardware SoC/IoT systems. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to provide valuable product feedback and serve as a liaison between customers and engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the sales team, managing customer-specific projects that integrate our hardware modules and Express software on Android and future Linux platforms., * Integrate customer support software with our solutions.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software and hardware integration.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to provide product feedback and improvements.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
• Develop, support, and demonstrate proof of concepts using our hardware development kits.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Support customer visits and trade shows as requested.
• Provide voice of the customer input for prioritization and road mapping.
• Willing to travel internationally ~25%

• BS or MS (BS) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related.
• Minimum 3 years of Software development experience.
• Proficiency in C coding for embedded systems.
• Experience in software and hardware integration and customer support.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams across different time-zones.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent documentation skills., * Experience in consumer audio product design, especially in TV, mobile phone, or set-top box (STB) applications, including Dolby decode, is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
• Familiarity with programming hardware development kits and IoT/SoC devices.
