Job description

The MDS NAV Engagement Lead is responsible for the strategic ownership, governance, and optimization of the company’s NetSuite ERP platform and related integrations across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Order Fulfillment. This role provides leadership over ERP support and enhancement activities while partnering closely with executive stakeholders to enable scalable growth across a distributed CPG supply chain that relies on external manufacturers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).

You will work closely with functions and venture business units to develop roadmaps and to plan agreed-to outcomes. In this role, you ensure that commitments are met and serve as the primary point of contact for Mondelēz International Digital Services. This role combines hands-on system expertise with people leadership, vendor management, and roadmap ownership to ensure MDS supports business performance, operational resilience, and financial integrity., ERP Strategy, Ownership & Governance:

  • Own the application roadmap, aligning ERP capabilities to business strategy, growth plans, and operational priorities.
  • Establish governance models for enhancements, prioritization, release management, and change control.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for ERP-related risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Ensure NetSuite architecture, configurations, and integrations scale with business growth.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop NetSuite analysts, administrators, and external support partners.
  • Set performance goals, define operating standards, and build repeatable support and delivery processes.
  • Manage capacity planning across internal resources and external vendors.
  • Foster strong business partnership and accountability across MDS and functional teams.

Supply Chain, 3PL & External Manufacturing Enablement:

  • Oversee NetSuite workflows supporting internal & external supply chain.
  • Ensure robust integration and data accuracy across inventory, production, ASN, shipment, and financial postings.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Service leadership to reduce fulfillment exceptions and improve visibility.
  • Drive continuous improvement across all business processes.

NetSuite Optimization, Enhancements & Integrations:

  • Lead complex NetSuite enhancements including workflows, custom records, scripting, reporting, and automation
  • Oversee integrations with 3PLs, EDI providers, WMS platforms, and planning tools.
  • Ensure disciplined testing, release management, and post-deployment stabilization.
  • Evaluate and introduce best practices for application / process optimization and harmonization.

Financial Integrity, Controls & Compliance:

  • Partner with Finance leadership to ensure accurate revenue recognition, COGS, landed cost, and inventory valuation.
  • Ensure ERP controls support audit, SOX, and compliance requirements as applicable.
  • Own master data governance across items, vendors, customers, pricing, BOMs, and lot attributes.
  • Drive data quality standards across internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of NetSuite or ERP experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Experience in CPG, food & beverage, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP processes including O2C, P2P, inventory, production, and financial close.
  • Proven experience supporting internal & external manufacturers and 3PL-integrated supply chains.
  • Demonstrated leadership of internal teams and external vendors.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Project management experience, planning, budget management, and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Experience with EDI (850, 856, 810, 940/945) and integration platforms (Celigo, MuleSoft).
  • Familiarity with product-centric or platform-based IT operating models.
  • Experience with e-commerce systems (Shopify. Tik-Tok shop)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, and/or Business Administration

Benefits & conditions

The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
