Job description

Our defense client is seeking 3 Test Engineers to develop and maintain test infrastructure supporting advanced satellite software and hardware systems. This role involves hardware and software integration, verification, and system testing throughout the product development lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing automated test tools and procedures, executing test plans, validating system performance, troubleshooting hardware and firmware issues, and supporting product verification and certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Active Secret clearance (Top Secret/SCI preferred)
  • Experience with hardware and software integration
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, documentation, and testing
  • Experience developing test plans, monitoring test execution, and evaluating results
  • Experience testing and debugging hardware and/or firmware
  • Scripting and automation experience (COSMOS, Ruby, or similar)
  • XML experience
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies, or similar hardware debugging tools, * COSMOS and/or Ruby scripting
  • C/C++
  • TCP/IP and UDP/IP networking
  • Experience supporting satellite or spaceflight programs
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
