Job description

  • Interac with site/collection owners to handle service inquiries and problems.\n
  • Provide implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.\n
  • Rapidly distinguish isolated user problems from enterprise-wide application/system problems. \n
  • Develop solutions for complex problems, update Knowledge Articles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect changes to the environment. \n
  • Oversee SharePoint projects to include minor and major version upgrades, routine maintenance, and expansion of capabilities to meet emerging requirements.\n
  • Identify methods for direct integration with Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) technologies.\n
  • Assist users with manual migrations from older SharePoint versions to SharePoint 2019, SE or SharePoint Online.\n
  • Manage permissions of new and existing site collections and their associated lists, items etc.\n
  • Manage access to O365/M365 applications based on SharePoint technology such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.\n
  • Conduct searches and purges of data from operational systems as required by cyber security, legal, compliance, FOIA, and other legitimate sources.\n
  • Manage asset library, risk database, and business rhythm calendar (Leidos best practice) to enhance situational awareness for stakeholders.\n
  • Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, develop, and implement solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements.\n
  • Provide follow-up reports (technical findings, feedback, resolution steps taken, After Action Report (AAR) etc.) for Root Cause Analysis, engineering technical assessment, and process improvement initiatives. \n
  • Support customer requirements in a 24/7/365 mission environment with after-hours outage response and support.\n
  • Update operations and maintenance documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with after-hours triage and troubleshooting of common SharePoint problems. \n

Requirements

n \nLeidos is seeking a Senior SharePoint System Administrator to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DOD. The SharePoint System Administrator will support infrastructure services, operations, and maintenance across multiple enclaves of different classifications with remote administration for server farms located in centralized data centers. The SharePoint Admin shall deploy, operate, and maintain SharePoint services, including load balancing, PKI authentication, and claims-based authentication as well as support site setup, permission management, troubleshooting, and service requests for customers as well as content and knowledge managers. This individual will work in a team environment to ensure mission needs are met and ensure functionality of capabilities of customers.\n \n This role requires an individual that is technical, customer oriented, and familiar with using SharePoint. This individual should be detail oriented in order to capture customer inquiries appropriately. Role requires excellent oral and written communication skills.\n, * Strong experience with SharePoint technologies to include SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019, SE and SharePoint Online.\n

  • Strong experience with configuring, installing, and securing SharePoint systems.\n
  • Experience with managing SQL clusters in support of SharePoint farms.\n
  • Experience with patch maintenance for SQL clusters and SharePoint farms.\n
  • Experience with PKI authentication and claims-based authentication.\n
  • Experience with utilizing load balancers such as F5 BigIP Load Traffic Manager or Citrix NetScaler.\n
  • Strong experience managing M365/O365 cloud offerings such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint Online.\n
  • Strong experience with patch maintenance for SharePoint farms.\n
  • Experience with routine maintenance processes and willingness to conduct scheduled maintenance during approved maintenance windows.\n
  • Experience with Change Management fundamentals to ensure proper planning, execution, and documentation of changes to the environment.\n
  • Experience with Tier 2 & Tier 3 system administration.\n
  • Experience troubleshooting issues in a growing environment.\n
  • Experience with reviews, incident analysis, and identification of issue trends .\n
  • Time management skills.\n
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.\n
  • Track record of working effectively within a team, and support to peers toward improved processes and results.\n
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.\n, * Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Masters degree with 6 years, Associate’s with 10 years, or High School Diploma with 12 years.\n, * Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) - IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher)\n
  • No industry certifications are required for this position, though a relevant certification in SharePoint, M365/O365 or similar technology is beneficial.\n, * Familiarity with using Nintex, InfoPath, and/or PowerBI platforms for creating and managing workflows.\n
  • Experience configuring and managing SPPatchify for patch maintenance of large SharePoint farms.\n
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or equivalent certification related to SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and their administration.\n
