Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a to support a company focused on advanced research and development, cloud infrastructure modernization, and mission-critical software solutions for the federal government. This position is . The Cloud Systems Engineer will help design, build, and maintain cloud-native environments while supporting the development of scalable infrastructure and services in secure environments. This is an opportunity to contribute to a long-standing, high-impact program focused on expanding cloud capabilities and delivering innovative solutions to critical national missions.

Design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure within AWS environments
Develop, configure, and support AWS services such as EC2, VPC, and related cloud technologies
Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems in secure environments
Support containerized applications and Kubernetes deployments
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile development environment to deliver new capabilities

Requirements

5+ years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or related environments
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, VPC, and other core platform offerings
Experience with Linux administration and scripting using Bash, Python, or other Linux-based scripting languages
Experience working within Agile environments and supporting microservices-based architectures
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or higher required
