IT Help Desk Worker

Departmental & Technical Support:

• Performs quarterly end of lease activities as assigned .

• Assists on local and enterprise IT projects .

• Works collaboratively and closely with local CDS team members to ensure customer satisfaction needs are accomplished in acceptable time-frames .

• Performs necessary system upgrades, repairs and maintenance on computer systems and peripherals .

• Installs, integrates, and configures new computer systems .

• Utilizes problem tracking system and procedures utilized by IT, and communicates needed changes to the system administrator .

Customer Service:

• Works collaboratively and closely with Regional Service Manager, customers, other IT team members to ensure customer satisfaction needs are accomplished in acceptable time-frames .

• As directed, i nteracts with customers to ensure hardware and software needs are met in acceptable time-frames .

Business Support:

• As directed, s upports Corporate Unified Communications and Video Conferencing solutions as require d and able .

• Completes special projects and required reports as assigned .

• Performs other duties as requested to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the department .

• High School Diploma or GED and enrollment in post-secondary education towards a degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience:

• Requires experience with personal computers

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of computer systems and software

• Requires strong oral and written communications skills to effectively work with all levels of management throughout the UnityPoint Health, its subsidiaries and affiliates.

• Must have basic telephone and typing skills

• Ability to work as a team member, creating and maintaining effective working relationships

• Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures

Hours: Monday-Friday, day shift - up to 32 hours/week
