Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead and oversee complex cybersecurity initiatives within our organization. This pivotal role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating enterprise-wide security projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of cybersecurity solutions aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management within the technology sector, particularly in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure, and demonstrate a strong ability to navigate diverse stakeholder requirements. This position offers an opportunity to influence our security posture significantly while working within a dynamic, innovative environment committed to excellence., * Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale cybersecurity projects, including software implementation, infrastructure upgrades, and enterprise solutions deployment.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, TFS (Team Foundation Server), and VersionOne to track progress and manage resources effectively.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to gather requirements, define scope, and establish project timelines following methodologies such as Agile (including SAFe and Kanban) and Waterfall.
  • Manage project risks through proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies aligned with PMBOK standards.
  • Oversee the development of test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among IT infrastructure teams, software developers, security specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders regarding project status, scope changes, and deliverables; prepare detailed reports using Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Supervise project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations while ensuring compliance with IT governance policies.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning efforts and oversee release management processes to ensure secure deployment of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Foster team leadership by mentoring junior project managers and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in project management practices.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing technical projects within cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or enterprise software environments.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, TFS, VersionOne, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS and cloud security best practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks including SAFe and Kanban; familiarity with Waterfall methodology.
  • Expertise in database management systems such as SQL and Oracle; experience with requirements gathering for complex systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in risk management, disaster recovery planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple concurrent projects efficiently.
  • Proven leadership in technical project & program management supervisory roles; capable of guiding cross-functional teams towards common objectives.
  • Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement across diverse audiences globally.
  • Familiarity with IT governance standards such as PMBOK principles; experience with project scheduling using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Analytical skills necessary for assessing technical solutions against organizational needs; adept at negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Deep understanding of software development processes including test-driven development (TDD) and software implementation cycles.
