Job description

How you’ll make a difference

You’ll design, build and embed AI capabilities that solve real business problems and support our transformation, data and AI ambitions. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll work closely with business teams, architects, security, risk and data colleagues to take ideas from proof of concept through to scalable, well-governed solutions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience of designing, building, maintaining and supporting AI solutions from end to end, in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong Foundry and Copilot experience
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data, applications, APIs or workflows.
  • Strong technical capability in Python.
  • Awareness of responsible AI, AI risk management, data protection, UK GDPR, security and compliance principles.
  • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business challenges into practical AI or automation solutions.
  • The confidence to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex ideas clearly and collaboratively.
  • Experience with cloud-based AI, analytics or engineering platforms; Databricks would be beneficial.
