Senior Full Stack Engineer - .NET

About the roleOur client, a digital consultancy delivering complex technology programmes across the public sector, are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join multidisciplinary delivery teams working on critical digital services.You will design, build and improve secure, reliable software used within large scale public service environments, collaborating with stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the software lifecycle.This is a hands-on software engineering role using .NET, cloud technologies and agile delivery practices in a fast-moving, stakeholder-heavy environment. Key responsibilitiesDesign, build and improve digital services across a range of delivery programmesDeliver software engineering solutions using .NET and associated technologiesWork across multiple project environments with differing technical and delivery requirementsCollaborate with client stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists to deliver outcomesContribute to agile delivery across planning, stand ups, refinement and retrospectivesSupport the design and delivery of secure, scalable and maintainable softwareWrite, test and improve production quality code in live delivery environmentsSupport engineering standards across testing, code review, accessibility and performanceHelp ensure deliverables meet agreed quality and operational standards Skills and experienceStrong experience as a Software Engineer in a hands on delivery roleExperience working within a consultancy environment.Experience working in public sector projects.Good experience designing, building and maintaining solutions using .NETBackground working within a full software engineering lifecycle environmentExperience delivering digital products or services within agile teamsAbility to work effectively with stakeholders in complex delivery environmentsExperience contributing beyond development into technical design, testing and delivery discussionsStrong communication skills and a practical approach to delivery, quality and teamwork
