Job description
Duties: Provide programming expertise to clinical project teams to support the development, regulatory approval, and market acceptance of company products. Design, develop, and implement technical solutions for integrating, analyzing, and reporting clinical data. Develop collaborative relationships within the Global Biometrics and Data Sciences organization, external vendors, and members of cross-functional development teams. Deploy programming strategies, standards, specifications, and programmed analysis to comply with regulatory requirements, standard operating procedures, and work practices. Develop, validate, troubleshoot, and maintain programs and utilities in accordance with pre-defined specifications and standards. Support electronic submissions through preparation and review. Develop programming specifications and review key planning documents such as statistical analysis plans, data presentation plans, and data review plans to align with project objectives. Ensure clarity and, Eligibility Disclosure:* The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.”, BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.

Requirements

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Business and Information Systems, Industrial Management, Computer Science, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience as a Statistician or related occupation.
Must have three (3) years of experience in the following skills (which may be gained concurrently):

Using R for producing derived analysis datasets and TFLs;

Implementing clinical data structures including Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium standards and relational databases;

Utilizing SAS, XML, and Pinnacle 21 to produce analysis datasets and TFLs;
-
Processing upstream data including multiple data forms, workflows, eDC, and SDTM; and
-
Providing downstream deliverables such as ADaM, TFLs, and e-submission components.

Paid Time Off
