Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing existing technologies, identifying opportunities for system improvements, gathering and analyzing business requirements, and designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support various business functions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable software solutions, provide technical documentation, troubleshoot system issues, and support end users to ensure the successful deployment and ongoing performance of business applications., * Assess existing software systems and technologies to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and enhancement.

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical system specifications.
  • Design, develop, and implement software applications that support various business operations and organizational needs.
  • Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
  • Perform application integration and ensure compatibility across multiple business functions and systems.
  • Conduct software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution to maintain high-quality application performance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing software applications through regular updates, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
  • Provide user support and training to ensure effective utilization of newly implemented applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure timely project delivery and continuous system improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews, version control, and software deployment activities while following established development standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in software application design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with software analysis, system design, and requirements gathering from business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including SQL development.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, RESTful APIs, and modern application development frameworks.
  • Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, software testing, and application performance optimization.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development tools.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and system specifications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience providing user training and post-implementation support.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and software engineering best practices.
