The End-User Computing Engineer leverages technical expertise to support modern workplace technologies, streamline operations, and deliver solutions that align with the Bank’s business objectives and technology strategy.

Operating with a high degree of ownership and accountability, the End-User Computing Engineer identifies improvement opportunities, resolves complex technical issues, implements technology enhancements, and helps ensure that employees have secure and reliable access to the systems and tools they need to perform their work effectively.

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain enterprise EUC services to ensure acceptable levels of performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, problem resolution, and preventative maintenance for desktop, endpoint, and virtual desktop technologies.
  • Provide third-tier technical support and technical guidance to Customer Support and other IT teams.
  • Administer and support desktop operating systems, endpoint management platforms, mobile devices, and related technologies.
  • Enhance system security through endpoint hardening, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and security-focused engineering practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation, standards, procedures, and operational support materials.
  • Create and maintain automation solutions and scripts that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and optimize operational processes.
  • Manage assigned EUC systems and services, ensuring consistent performance, support, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
  • Track work requests, operational activities, incidents, and project tasks through the Bank’s IT service management processes.
  • Communicate infrastructure updates, maintenance activities, and technology changes to management, support teams, and end users as appropriate.
  • Support operating system and application deployment, patching, packaging, and update management activities.
  • Collaborate with Information Security, Infrastructure Services, and application teams to support technology initiatives, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new technologies that improve the employee computing experience and support the Bank’s strategic objectives.
