Job description
- Full Stack Software Developer responsible for back-end and front-end solutions, 508 compliance, user interface construction, API construction and system interfacing.
- Design, construct, test, maintain, enhance, upgrade and modify solutions for a large, Cloud-based, Enterprise Cross Domain Service (ECDS) system.
- Analyze and assist in defining customer requirements to determine the most effective solutions to satisfy their need.
- Design, create, test, and maintain software, content solutions, and web-based applications to satisfy customer requirements.
- Adhere to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications (e.g., software reuse, modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault tolerant).
- Support software and web architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems).
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and/or university with a concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working on IT technical teams as a Software Engineer/Developer.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with COTS customization, Cross Domain solutions, Cloud-based SaaS development, and software design and testing.
- Knowledge of software architecture, software development, software quality assurance, and software engineering principles.
- Ability to write high-quality code using technologies such as HTML, Java, XML, NodeJS, JSON, C++, Apache Storm, ELK, and GitLab.
- Experience developing and deploying Cloud-based solutions.
- Experience supporting the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and debugging of complex solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including at least one (1) year of experience working on an Agile team.
- Experience with JIRA or similar project and configuration management tools.
- Understanding of Section 508 compliance requirements and U.S. Government security compliance standards.
- Ability to follow formal design processes and create technical artifacts such as specifications, data flow diagrams, wireframes, and feature documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
