Job description

Building dynamic web applications using PHP, MySQL, NGINX, HTML5, etc.
Solving problems, bugs, and compatibility issues.
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
Develop and deploy new features.
Introduce the latest technologies and influence code development methodologies.
Collaborate in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment.

Requirements

Our Vernon Hills, IL client is seeking a minimum of 5+ years of development experience with PHP. Understands object-oriented programming principles and techniques with a minimum of 2+ years of database experience with MySQL. A developer that believes strongly in good design, usability and efficiency, exceptional communication skills and attention to detail., Minimum Requirements: Experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery.

Desired (but not required): Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Apache); MongoDB, Bootstrap, Kohana.
