Job description

The Infrastructure & Site Services role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery, support, maintenance, and continual improvement of technology services across Gorilla Glue’s UK and European operations.

This role serves as the first point of coordination for daily IT issues, site technology needs, infrastructure execution, vendor coordination, escalated user support, and regional technology project delivery. The position ensures reliable and secure operation of local infrastructure, workplace technologies, and business-critical technology services supporting European office, warehouse, and remote work environments.

This role is accountable for the execution, coordination, and operational delivery of technology services throughout Europe.

The position works collaboratively with Enterprise Infrastructure, Security Operations, Service Desk, Enterprise Data Management, and Applications teams to execute enterprise standards while ensuring local business requirements are effectively supported., * Serve as the first point of coordination for day-to-day European IT issues, support needs, infrastructure execution activities, and technology service requests.

  • Coordinate daily technology operations across European office, warehouse, and satellite locations.
  • Monitor and maintain network, server, endpoint, workplace technology, and connectivity services.
  • Coordinate local technology requirements for office expansions, relocations, and facility improvements.
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, workstation deployment, and workplace technology readiness.
  • Coordinate local telecommunications, internet connectivity, conference room technologies, and related services.
  • Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for escalated technology issues.
  • Partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure Operations, and Security teams to ensure timely incident resolution.
  • Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes, hardware deployments, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Ensure technology environments remain stable, secure, and highly available.
  • Support backup, recovery, resiliency, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Assist with implementation and support of enterprise technology platforms in partnership with global IT teams.
  • Coordinate project resources, vendors, local stakeholders, and implementation activities.
  • Support deployment of Microsoft platform, infrastructure, workplace technology, and security initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in supporting IT infrastructure, systems administration, or technology operations.
  • Experience supporting multi-site business environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking, server infrastructure, endpoint management, Microsoft technologies, and workplace technology services.
  • Experience managing technology vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Experience coordinating technology projects and implementation activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and ownership mindset.
  • Some travel to EU may be required, * Service Desk : 5 years (required)
  • Infrastructure: 3 years (preferred)
