Job description

Data is one of SRG’s greatest opportunities.

As a group built through acquisition, we’ve brought together successful businesses, talented people and valuable information. The challenge is transforming that information into insight, helping leaders make better decisions and creating a platform that supports the next generation of analytics and AI.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you’ll own SRG’s Data & Analytics pillar, creating the trusted data foundations that power decisions across the organisation.

This isn’t a reporting role. It’s an opportunity to shape how an international business thinks, measures performance and unlocks value from its data.

You’ll own the strategy, architecture and evolution of our enterprise data platform, creating a scalable, trusted environment that enables better decisions, self-service analytics and future AI innovation.

Requirements

You’ll be a commercially minded data specialist who enjoys combining technical depth with organisational impact.

  • Deep hands-on command of Snowflake: warehouse design, cost control, and its modern capabilities including in-platform AI.

  • Practical experience with in-platform AI like Cortex, LLM extraction from unstructured sources, and using AI to speed up your own delivery.

  • Experience designing and operating modern cloud data platforms.

  • Expertise’s in DBT and contemporary data architectures.

  • Experience building enterprise wide analytics and self service capabilities.

  • Knowledge of semantic modelling, data governance and quality frameworks.
