Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer - Dashboard Build, you will make an impact by designing, implementing and operating scalable build and deployment systems that support secure, reliable software delivery. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with product engineering and site reliability engineering teams to improve build health, velocity, accuracy and developer experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, implement and operate build and deployment systems aligned to FedRAMP High and IL5 requirements, with a focus on scalability, availability, product quality and developer experience.
  • Translate security and compliance requirements into practical engineering solutions, including access control, audit logging, secret management, vulnerability response and evidence collection.
  • Partner with product engineering teams to monitor and maintain, build health, velocity and accuracy across development workflows.
  • Collaborate with site reliability engineering teams to support the scalability, reliability and availability of building systems.
  • Prevent, predict and respond to build-related issues while coordinating triage and remediation efforts across product teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity, GitHub, Buildkite, CircleCI, and/or RWX.
  • Strong experience with version control platforms such as Git, GitLab and/or GitHub.
  • Hands-on experience with containers and build environment tools such as AWS, Artifactory, Docker and/or Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting knowledge using Shell, Groovy, Ruby or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React toolchains and modern frontend build pipelines.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and RSpec pipelines.
  • Ability to work with security and compliance requirements in regulated environments, including access control, audit logging, vulnerability response and evidence collection.

These will help you stand out:

  • Experience supporting build or deployment systems in FedRAMP High, IL5 or similarly regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of secure software delivery practices, including audit readiness, secrets management and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience improving developer experience through automation, tooling and build pipeline optimization.
  • Ability to collaborate across product engineering, security, compliance and site reliability engineering teams.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex build issues and driving cross-functional remediation efforts.
