Job description

Write optimized, scalable and well-documented code to implement the virtual environments.

  • Test, evaluate and debug code, and document workflows for the simulated reality experiences.

  • Communicate updates, participate in project discussions, and share technical solutions with the team.

  • Research new tools and stay informed of latest developments in the visualization and gaming industry., This is a 1099 independent contractor position with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

The individual should have software application development experience, and knowledge of game hosting., Professional experience in gaming/visualization industry with at least 1 year of software development experience.

  • Proven ability to create immersive environments, program game mechanics, integrate assets, and use rendering & physics systems.

  • Proficiency in C++ & OpenGL, with the ability to write clean, maintainable and extensible code with attention to reusability.

  • Knowledge of memory optimization techniques, GUI libraries, version control tools, server hosting, and WebSocket API.
