Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS Cloud Platform Engineering and Administration.
  • 3 5 years of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
  • Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Direct Connect, ELB, Security Groups, NACLs, and Networking.
  • Hands-on production experience with AWS implementations.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
  • Strong automation skills using Python (Boto3), Ansible, and Linux Bash scripting.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Docker, and containerized environments.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory, and related DevOps tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud-native architecture, microservices, and platform engineering.
  • Experience with Linux system administration.
  • Understanding of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and observability.
  • Experience with enterprise cloud migration and modernization projects.
  • Exposure to AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock, Kendra, and RAG models is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least one AWS Certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Python, Java, Go, or Groovy programming.
  • Experience with Service Mesh (Istio/App Mesh), container security tools, and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Jaeger.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Cloud and DevOps certifications preferred.
