Requirements

10+ years of overall IT experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS Cloud Platform Engineering and Administration.
3 5 years of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Direct Connect, ELB, Security Groups, NACLs, and Networking.
Hands-on production experience with AWS implementations.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
Strong automation skills using Python (Boto3), Ansible, and Linux Bash scripting.
Experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Docker, and containerized environments.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Artifactory, and related DevOps tools.
Strong knowledge of Cloud-native architecture, microservices, and platform engineering.
Experience with Linux system administration.
Understanding of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and observability.
Experience with enterprise cloud migration and modernization projects.
Exposure to AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock, Kendra, and RAG models is a plus.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
At least one AWS Certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) is required.

Preferred Skills:

Python, Java, Go, or Groovy programming.
Experience with Service Mesh (Istio/App Mesh), container security tools, and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Jaeger.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Cloud and DevOps certifications preferred.
