Job description

We are looking for a highly organized, operationally minded Warehouse Technology Manager to own and evolve the warehouse technology ecosystem supporting our distribution and fulfillment operations.

This role is responsible for supporting and improving warehouse systems, operational workflows, warehouse hardware, reporting, and cross-functional coordination between operations, customer service, leadership, and technical teams.

The right candidate will operate as an operational systems owner - balancing warehouse technology administration, workflow support, operational troubleshooting, process coordination, reporting, and systems analysis.

Success in this role requires strong operational awareness, accountability, communication, and follow-through in a fast-moving warehouse environment.

You will work closely with warehouse leadership, customer service, inventory teams, and technical teams to support scalable warehouse operations and evolving customer requirements.

This role will also play a key part in the company’s future WMS evaluation and migration initiatives.

What You’ll Own

  • Administer and support the company’s warehouse technology environment, currently Korber Edge WMS.
  • Support operational warehouse technology including RF scanners, warehouse tablets, printers, and labeling workflows.
  • Own warehouse systems troubleshooting related to receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Research workflow failures, inventory discrepancies, and transactional issues impacting warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate with technical and integration teams when operational system issues require escalation or deeper technical support.
  • Work directly with warehouse leadership to support operational workflows and process improvements.
  • Build and maintain operational reporting and SQL-based warehouse visibility tools.
  • Maintain workflow documentation, operational procedures, and warehouse systems process standards.
  • Help evaluate operational impacts of changing customer requirements, labeling standards, serialization initiatives, and inventory traceability workflows.
  • Facilitate cross-functional testing and workflow validation efforts during warehouse system changes and future WMS initiatives.
  • Support future warehouse technology strategy, including participation in WMS evaluation and implementation efforts.

Technologies & Operational Platforms, * Takes ownership of operational systems and workflows naturally.

  • Communicates early and clearly when issues arise.
  • Understands how warehouse technology impacts physical execution.
  • Approaches workflow and process problems practically and operationally.
  • Seeks to understand the business deeply before proposing changes.
  • Improves processes thoughtfully rather than creating unnecessary disruption.
  • Remains calm and organized during operational issues or workflow failures.
  • Understands the operational impact of changing customer requirements and compliance standards.

Important Notes About the Role

This is a high-trust, operational ownership position.

We are looking for someone who naturally takes responsibility for warehouse systems, workflow support, operational troubleshooting, and process coordination without requiring constant oversight.

The environment already contains established warehouse workflows, operational processes, and supporting systems. Success in this role requires learning the existing operational ecosystem thoroughly before making significant workflow or technology changes.

This role works closely with technical and integration teams but is not responsible for software engineering or integration development.

Growth Opportunity

This position is expected to evolve into a lead warehouse systems and operational technology ownership role with increasing involvement in warehouse strategy, WMS evaluation, and operational process modernization over time.
