Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, firmware QA, or embedded systems test engineering roles\n
  • Experience validating feature-level behavior, supported device commands, and SDK interactions\n
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and test design techniques for embedded systems\n
  • Experience with test automation, including writing and maintaining automated tests (Python preferred)\n
  • Experience working in environments with hardware and software dependencies, including flashing firmware and interacting directly with physical devices\n
  • Practical knowledge of Linux environments, Git workflows, and CI/CD concepts as applied to embedded systems\n
  • Understanding of software/firmware development practices, hardware debugging, defect investigation, and root cause analysis\n

  • Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios for complex embedded systems, radar firmware, and SDKs\n
  • Analyze product requirements and architecture to contribute to test strategies, coverage, and acceptance criteria for radar functionality and supported commands\n
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports; manage defects through resolution\n
  • Perform manual, exploratory, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to identify product risks, edge cases, and failure modes\n
  • Build and maintain automated tests where they provide clear value, contributing to existing frameworks\n
  • Collaborate with firmware, product, and software teams to improve testability and overall quality\n
  • Support test environments, automation infrastructure, and test execution across projects and releases\n
  • Promote strong testing practices and a quality-first mindset, participating in peer reviews and knowledge sharing\n
