Job description

Insight Global is seeking to hire a Vice President of Information Technology that will be integral to the bank’s digital backbone, ensuring critical computing services are not only highly reliable for daily business operations, but also strategically evolving to enhance performance, availability, and security. This is a leadership role that demands strong team and technical leadership, hands-on problem solving, disciplined process management, and finesse in collaborating with senior management, IT staff, consultants, and end users. You will directly oversee and guide all IT functions and staff, including systems and applications, network engineering, IT project management, help desk operations, disaster recovery/business continuity planning, and cybersecurity to ensure a cohesive and high-performing technology infrastructure.

While this role is a key leadership position in the organization, you will still be responsible for guiding the IT operations and functions from a high level but also being actively involved with technical issues., Strategic & technical leadership

  • Operational management & team development
  • Network design, architecture, and security
  • Documentation, policies, and standards
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Budget and resource strategy
  • Strategic initiatives

Requirements

5+ years of IT leadership experience providing guidance on strategic initiatives.

  • Strong technical background and comfortable being hands on to resolve IT issues.
  • Proficient with vSphere and Veeam.
  • Prior experience working in a regulatory environment (banking/finance, healthcare, energy, transportation, government, etc).
  • Experience with cyber security and risk management principles, specifically penetration testing.
  • Experienced writing and adjusting IT policies and governance.
  • Network skills: routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the banking industry.
  • Experience with Fortinet.
  • Experience with Trend Micro.
