Job description

We are seeking a Lead Workday HRIS Consultant to provide functional leadership and hands-on support across the Workday platform and broader HR technology environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Security, Reporting, and Business Process Configuration. This role will lead Workday configuration, system enhancements, troubleshooting, testing, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering closely with HR and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Experience with Workday configuration, business processes, security, reporting, and testing is mandatory., * 7+ years of HRIS experience with strong expertise in Workday.
  • Hands-on experience supporting multiple Workday modules, including:

  • Core HCM
  • Payroll
  • Compensation
  • Benefits
  • Time Tracking
  • Absence
  • Security
  • Strong experience with Workday configuration, business process design, and system administration.
  • Experience building and maintaining Workday Reports, Dashboards, Calculated Fields, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIBs).
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Security, reporting, testing methodologies, and release management.
  • Experience supporting Workday system enhancements, production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with system testing, UAT, regression testing, and production deployments.
  • Ability to collaborate with HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and technical teams to deliver scalable HR technology solutions.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching HRIS Analysts and providing functional leadership.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Skills

  • Experience leading Workday optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Workday integrations and enterprise HR technology environments.
  • Knowledge of HRIS best practices, change management, and release planning.
  • Previous experience in a lead or senior Workday HRIS functional role.
