Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control?, API Automation

  • 10+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Java fundamentals

  • Hands-on development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot in production

  • Strong microservices experience (service boundaries, inter-service communication, resiliency patterns)

  • Strong REST API design and implementation experience

  • Experience with Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, configmaps/secrets, scaling)

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, networking basics, monitoring/logging, managed services exposure)

  • Strong experience with Cassandra (schema/data modeling, partitioning, performance considerations)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Git-based workflows. Strong debugging, performance tuning, and operational mindset

Nice to Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in design, development and triaging for large, complex systems. Experience in Java and object-oriented design skills

  • 5+ years of microservices development

  • 3+ years working in Spring Boot

  • Experienced using API dev tools like IntelliJ/Eclipse, Postman, Git, Cucumber

  • Hands on experience in building microservices based application using Spring Boot and REST, JSON

  • DevOps understanding - containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, CI/CD Experience in streaming technologies like Apache Kafka

  • Excellent understanding of file transfer protocols like FTP, FTSP, SFTP.

  • Application & Middleware

  • Java/JVM based services using Hibernate, Netty, and REST/GraphQL APIs

  • GraphQL platforms supporting high volume customer and payment interactions Cloud & Platform

  • Kubernetes (container orchestration)

  • Istio service mesh (traffic control, resiliency, rate limiting, observability) Data & Integration

  • Apache Airflow for orchestration and workflow scheduling

  • Legacy ETL modernization and pipeline automation using airflow

  • Storage & Caching

  • Redis, and relational data stores supporting transactional workloads Observability & Reliability

  • End to end monitoring using metrics, tracing, and logs (e.g., Datadog)
