Architect and execute a comprehensive proof of concept to modernize legacy systems into cloud-native microservices. Install, configure, and optimize enterprise Red Hat Linux instances across dynamic cloud infrastructures. Administer application servers and perform extensive JVM performance tuning for deployed enterprise software. Execute database migrations from legacy relational platforms to modern open-source database architectures. Automate repetitive operational workflows by engineering robust scripts to enhance system reliability. Monitor complex infrastructure environments utilizing advanced observability tools to rapidly resolve performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to streamline continuous software delivery and integration pipelines. 15 or more years of experience in enterprise system administration and AWS DevOps engineering. Proficiency in WebLogic application server administration and Java/J2EE enterprise application support. Experience with configuring and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers within cloud environments. Experience in building proof of concept migrations utilizing containerization, ECS, EKS, and AWS Lambda. Experience with Oracle RDS, PostgreSQL, JBoss, and JDBC data source connection pool configuration. Experience in automating CI/CD pipelines and administrative tasks utilizing GitLab, Python, and Shell scripting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
