Job description
- Design and develop highly available, fault-tolerant active-active systems to meet SLA and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver new features and enhancements for existing enterprise applications.
- Take end-to-end ownership of delivery across: Requirements gathering
- Solution design
- Development and testing
- Deployment and production support
- Collaborate with software engineering, infrastructure, and production support teams to ensure application stability.
- Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues ensuring minimal downtime.
- Participate in release cycles, deployments, and post-production support activities.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Drive continuous improvements in system resilience and operational efficiency.

Requirements
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development (10+ years).
- Experience in building 24x7 active-active, highly available platforms.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Maven, and Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Bitbucket, Crowd, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, SonarQube, Artifactory, and XLR.
- Strong experience in database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Agile at Scale frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Data Engineering and data pipeline development.
- Prior exposure to Investment Banking / Financial Services IT domain.
