Network Security Engineer

Architect and design security frameworks for enterprise Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall deployments.

5+ years of experience in enterprise network security engineering with a focus on perimeter defense. Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls and Panorama centralized management. Experience with Cisco ASA and Firepower (FTD/FMC) administration and platform lifecycle management. Experience with Cisco ISE for network access control, RADIUS/TACACS+, and device profiling. Experience with secure remote access VPNs, IPSec site-to-site tunnels, and certificate-based authentication. Experience with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN security policies and Cisco Umbrella DNS-layer protection. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and ITIL change management.

Execute security policies, NAT rules, and advanced threat prevention features including App-ID and WildFire. Manage the full lifecycle of Cisco ASA and Firepower platforms including upgrades, patching, and IPS tuning. Engineer secure remote connectivity solutions using Cisco AnyConnect and encrypted site-to-site VPN tunnels. Enforce application-aware security policies and traffic segmentation across enterprise SD-WAN fabrics. Deploy DNS-layer security and category-based web filtering policies via cloud-delivered protection platforms. Lead network-layer incident investigations and align architectures with PCI-DSS, SOX, and NIST standards.
