Job description

The Power Platform Developer will design, develop, test, implement, and document solutions that range from simple data collection forms and automated workflows to complex enterprise applications. The work will include Power Platform solutions, SharePoint Online enhancements, and integrations with systems and data sources outside Microsoft 365, including SQL and other external systems., * Develop and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Design and implement data collection forms, workflows, and enterprise applications.
  • Administer, manage, and troubleshoot SharePoint Online sites.
  • Respond to and resolve SharePoint support requests.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SQL, XML, and other structured external data sources.
  • Document completed work and provide regular progress updates.
  • Collaborate with the Applications and Development Manager to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to expert-level experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Strong experience building custom applications and automated workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting SharePoint Online environments.
  • Experience with external system integration, including SQL, XML, and structured data formats.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and the broader Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidate must sign a confidentiality, participation, and assignment of rights agreement in a form acceptable to the State.
  • Candidate must be physically located within the United States and authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the engagement.
  • Regular weekly communication and documentation of completed work are required.
