Sr/Principal Hardware Engineer

• Architect electrical circuit solutions for:
• Secure processing
• Storage systems
• Networking systems
• FPGA-based designs
• High-speed interfaces
• Electronics designed for extreme environments
• Develop high-speed digital hardware designs utilizing:
• 400G+ Ethernet
• PCIe Gen5+
• DDR5+
• Modern interconnect technologies
• Execute development and verification of complex circuits, modules, and systems.
• Establish and contribute to engineering best practices, design guidelines, and process improvements.
• Provide technical guidance on risks, cost, schedule, and program direction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience.
• Experience developing complex embedded digital hardware from concept through production.
• Experience with high-speed and high-performance interfaces.
• Experience with memory technologies and next-generation interconnects.
• Experience with signal integrity.
• U.S. citizenship or authorization eligibility required due to access-controlled information.

Tools & Analysis

• Cadence Schematic Capture tools or equivalent.
• Cadence Allegro or equivalent CAD/SI tools.
• Mentor Valydate or schematic integrity tools.
• Reliability and stress analysis, including:
• FMECA
• Derating
• Requirements and workflow tools:
• DOORS
• JAMA
• JIRA
• Confluence
• Experience supporting:
• Proposals
• Cost estimates
• Schedule estimates
• BOE development
