Data Engineer Senior, SBG

The Data Engineer Senior will be responsible for producing and writing a wide range of documentation, both technical and strategic., * Work to enable Enterprise Information Management services (e.g. metadata management, data tagging, data cataloging, etc.) and data pipeline services based on mission needs and objectives of our client as they continue the build out and maintenance of their Big Data Platform infrastructure, platforms, and software.

We are looking for a Data Engineer Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual with the ability to excel in a challenging, fast-paced government contractor environment. The position location is remote., * Experience with enterprise streaming data use cases is preferred., * A bachelor’s degree in an applicable field

• 10+ years of experience with data engineering
• Experience operating under a platform Authority to Operate in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) security assessments, documenting assessments, and communicating the outcomes of these assessments to leadership
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with agile and DevSecOps methodologies, like CI/CD, ETL, Data Pipelines, Data Lakes
• U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret Security Clearance due to access to sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Army and ASA(ALT)/PEO experience or knowledge is desired.
