Why This Role Is Exciting This isn’t just another engineering role.You’ll join the team during a pivotal phase as we build and launch the next generation of the Movex platform, including a brand-new website and supporting services.You’ll have the opportunity to: Contribute to a major greenfield project from concept through to delivery Help shape the architecture and technical foundations of a modern digital platform Influence engineering standards, tooling, and best practices Work closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences Champion modern software engineering principles across the development lifecycle Build solutions that directly impact thousands of vehicle movements every day What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the development and evolution of our wholesale products and the new Movex digital experience.You’ll collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that create real business value.Key responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and enhancing software applications using modern technologies and engineering practicesContributing to the development of the new Movex website and associated platform servicesWorking closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutionsWriting clean, maintainable, and efficient codeReviewing and approving technical designs and code produced by other developersChampioning engineering excellence, quality, and continuous improvementIdentifying and resolving performance, scalability, and security issuesSupporting CI/CD and automated testing practicesProducing technical documentation for delivered solutionsParticipating in Agile ceremonies and product discussionsSupporting integrations with third-party partners and suppliersSharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues across the engineering communityHelping shape the future technical direction of the platform

Strong software engineering background with hands-on experience in:.NETAzureReactSQL ServerCloud-based application developmentExperience working within product-led organisationsExperience delivering solutions in Agile and Lean environmentsExperience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native applicationsA passion for building high-quality software and continuously improving engineering practices
