Security ArchitectNorth Bristol | Hybrid | £80-95,000 + Car Allowance | Bonus | Excellent Benefits We’re supporting a growing technology consultancy that delivers complex engineering, cyber and digital transformation programmes across the National Security sector.As demand for their Security capability continues to grow, they’re looking to recruit a Security Architect to join an established team working on highly secure, mission-critical programmes. This is an opportunity to influence the design and delivery of secure systems from concept through to live service, working alongside experienced consultants and technical specialists. Due to the nature of the work, you’ll need to hold, UK Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance. The Headlines A hands-on Security Architecture role where you’ll help clients design, assess and deliver secure technology solutions across the full system lifecycle.You’ll work directly with customers, technical teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions are Secure by Design, balancing business requirements with technical risk while contributing to some of the UK’s most technically challenging security programmes. What You’ll Be Doing Designing secure solutions across the full system lifecycleProducing security architecture documentation and technical designsConducting technical security and risk assessmentsWorking closely with customers to understand requirements and translate them into secure solutionsLeading technical workshops and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupporting engineering teams to embed Secure by Design principles throughout deliveryCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, resilient systems

Experience working as a Security Architect or in a similar cyber security roleStrong understanding of Secure by Design principlesExperience producing security architecture and technical design documentationExperience conducting security risk assessments and communicating findings to technical and business stakeholdersExperience working across complex IT, cloud or engineering environmentsCISSP, CISM or another recognised cyber security certification (or equivalent experience) Nice to HaveExperience working within Defence or National SecurityTOGAF, ArchiMate or similar architecture frameworksConsultancy experienceKnowledge of secure systems engineering and assuranceCurrent UK Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance
