SSD Firmware Test Engineer {167632}

• Design, implement, and debug automated test scripts for SSD firmware based on design specifications and feature requirements
• Develop and maintain greybox, blackbox, and whitebox tests for firmware validation, cross-feature interactions, and backend algorithms
• Execute functional, reliability, performance, and protocol-level validation testing across multiple platforms
• Analyze results and collaborate with firmware engineers to identify root causes and resolve issues
• Own the full end-to-end test development lifecycle in JIRA, ensuring traceability between requirements, tests, and defects
• Collaborate with global validation teams to align coverage, reduce overlaps, and support system-level and customer-facing validation scenarios
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation tools, processes, and workflows to enhance SSD product testing efficiency

• Required: 2-4 years of Hands-on experience testing SSD firmware, including functional, reliability, performance, and protocol-level validation.
• Required: Knowledge of SSD architecture, FTL/backend algorithms, storage protocols, and firmware features.
• Required: Experience owning end-to-end test development lifecycle in JIRA, including test stories, integration tasks, and defect tracking.
• Required: Collaboration experience with global validation teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills., * Test Engineering: 5 years (Required)
