Job description

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our fully remote team. The ideal candidate will collect, analyse, and interpret data to generate actionable insights that support business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and drive organizational growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate reporting and data-driven recommendations. Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, validate, and analyses data from multiple sourcesDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar toolsWrite and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reportingIdentify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through statistical analysisMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)Collaborate with business, product, finance, marketing, and operations teams to understand reporting requirementsPerform ad hoc data analysis and present findings to stakeholdersAutomate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracyEnsure data quality, integrity, and compliance with company policiesDocument data processes, methodologies, and reporting standards

Requirements

Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field2-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar roleStrong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualisation toolsExperience with Python or R for data analysis and automationUnderstanding of statistical analysis, data modelling, and data cleansing techniquesStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesAbility to work independently in a remote environment Preferred QualificationsExperience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and business intelligence platformsFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Basic knowledge of machine learning and predictive analyticsExperience in industries such as SaaS, fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or retailExperience working with remote or international teams
