Job description

As an AI Engineer / Software Developer, you’ll be responsible for developing software using C# and .NET while leveraging AI-powered tools throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll be someone who naturally incorporates AI into day-to-day development, using it to improve code quality, productivity, and delivery within a modern engineering environment., If you’re an experienced AI Engineer / Software Developer who is passionate about using AI to enhance software development, apply today to learn more!

Requirements

  • Proven experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle in a production environment
  • Experience with AI-assisted development platforms such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar
  • A strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and development workflows
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within an Agile development team

Benefits & conditions

We’re looking for an experienced AI Engineer / Software Developer to join a long-term contract with an initial 3-month term and a strong likelihood of extension up to 18 months. This role is based in Reading, with three days per week onsite, and offers a day rate of up to £450, outside IR35.
