Job description

As an Insight Analyst, you will work closely with our client, retailer supply chain teams, commercial stakeholders, and field sales teams to generate meaningful insights that improve product availability, stock efficiency, and overall commercial performance.

You will play a crucial role in monitoring stock levels, identifying opportunities, influencing key stakeholders, and providing clear recommendations that help maximise on-shelf availability (OSA), increase retail sales value (RSV), and deliver a strong return on investment (ROI).

Using a variety of data sources and reporting platforms, including the ReApp Insights Platform, you will analyse trends, create impactful reports, and support strategic decision-making across the business., Insight & Analysis

  • Analyse commercial and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Generate actionable insights that support improved stock availability and retail performance.
  • Monitor depot and store inventory levels to identify potential supply chain challenges.
  • Produce regular reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis to support business objectives.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, client stakeholders, retail partners, and supply chain contacts.
  • Attend internal and external meetings to present insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with commercial, supply chain, customer service, operations, and field sales teams to improve business performance.
  • Support communication between retailers, field teams, and clients to drive availability improvements.

Supply Chain & Availability

  • Utilise the ReApp Insights Platform to monitor stock levels and drive availability improvements.
  • Support stock pressure activities to ensure sufficient stock exists within depots and stores.
  • Assist with planning and execution of key events, product launches, and promotional activity.
  • Work with retail supply chain teams to improve on-shelf availability and feature compliance.
  • Identify supply chain efficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Presentations

  • Create engaging and visually impactful presentations that communicate insight and recommendations effectively.
  • Deliver clear reports aligned to commercial and field team business cycles.

Requirements

  • Experience within an FMCG, supply chain, commercial, analytics, or insights environment.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent data management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong numerical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and presentations that drive decision-making.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
