Job description

We are looking for a BI Programmer Analyst to join our Corporate Headquarters in Marbella. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into strategic knowledge by designing, developing, and maintaining our Business Intelligence (BI) infrastructure. You will ensure high data quality, integrity, and robust modeling through ETL processes and database optimization., * Reporting & Decision Support: Define, standardize, analyze, and build reports requested by various group departments to support process optimization and strategic decision-making.

  • Environment Administration: Manage and integrate data flows across On-premise and Cloud environments, maintaining high data integrity.
  • Data Engineering: Design, build, and maintain Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) processes to manage data volume efficiently.
  • Reporting Migration: Migrate and update existing reports from SAP BusinessObjects to Power BI.
  • Dashboard Development: Create interactive control panels and dashboards aligned with the organization’s key KPIs to track business performance.
  • System Maintenance: Optimize the current catalog of reports to guarantee continuous availability and performance.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data consistency, quality, and complete traceability across systems.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields; OR Higher Vocational Training (Grado Superior) in IT with a postgraduate/specialization in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics tools.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Data Programmer Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Languages: Professional working proficiency in Technical English.
  • Essential Technical Skills: *

  • Advanced command of SQL (data extraction and manipulation).
  • Multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).
  • Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Data Ingestion Pipelines).
  • Visualization tools: Power BI, Looker Studio, and SAP BusinessObjects.
  • Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, MySQL.
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Desirable / Recommended:

  • Administration of Azure services.
  • Proficiency in .NET platform programming.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks.
  • Basic Linux systems administration.
  • Development and integration experience with SAP.
  • Familiarity with other enterprise reporting tools.
