The Role: Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for championing, supporting and leading continuous quality improvement initiatives in compliance with Health & Safety legislation. Responsibilities: Create and implement toolbox trainingDevelopment and delivery of health and safety, environmental and quality trainingEnsure compliance with Health & Safety legislationTake responsibility for maintaining current CHAS & ISO14001:2015 accreditationsAssist the Quality Manager in achieving and maintaining current ISO9001:2015 accreditationAccident investigation and reduction of risk, by implementing continuous improvementReviewing of risk assessments and safe systems of workDevelop documents, policies, processes, and procedures to adhere to statutory regulations and certification requirementsImplement opportunities to use energy more efficiently, and promote energy saving initiativesAttending and co-ordinating Health and Safety and Environmental meetingsAttending regular meetings with the teams at head officeOther tasks relating to Training, Health & Safety and Compliance, as required by the business
