Job description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, and SQL
Perform mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning (Strobe, iStrobe, Platinum Detector)
Support file management, debugging, and job scheduling using tools such as File-AID, Endeavor, Intertest, Abend-AID, and Control-M
Work within an Agile team to gather requirements, develop solutions, and perform end-to-end testing
Contribute to application architecture, scalability, and conformance to established standards
Provide on-site and on-call support as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical discussions, and mentor team members
Support QA readiness, system testing, documentation, and risk management activities

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, and SQL on z/OS
Proven experience in mainframe application development, support, and performance tuning
Experience with mainframe tools such as File-AID, Endeavor, Intertest, Abend-AID, Strobe/iStrobe, and Control-M
Ability to work in an Agile environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience supporting complex financial or stock plan / equity compensation systems is a strong plus, * Are you currently authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship (now or in the future)?
Do you have hands-on experience developing applications using COBOL, CICS, and DB2 on a z/OS mainframe environment?
