Job description

  • This role serves as the critical bridge between presales, solutioning, and delivery, engaging directly with senior executive stakeholders to shape and close large-scale enterprise cloud transformation opportunities across Microsoft Azure environments., * Join strategic customer conversations and translate complex business problems into enterprise-grade cloud, data, AI, and application modernization solutions.
  • Lead whiteboarding sessions and architecture discussions, developing transformation roadmaps tailored to each customer’s environment and goals.
  • Communicate technical recommendations clearly to C-suite and executive audiences, adapting depth and language to the room.
  • Support presales teams on large, complex opportunities, helping move customers through final technical concerns and objections.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, business development, delivery, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are credible and deliverable.
  • Guide and provide architectural oversight to other architects and technical leaders across large transformation programs.
  • Connect technology investments to measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of broad, hands-on experience in cloud architecture, application modernization, data platforms, and AI solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated consulting or professional services background, with experience managing high-pressure, multi-stakeholder client environments.
  • Proven experience engaging senior executives (CTO, CIO, CFO, COO) and presenting proposed solutions to customer leadership.
  • Executive presence and strong emotional intelligence, with a “chameleon mentality “ that allows seamless communication across technical and business audiences.
  • Clear career progression showing increased responsibility, movement from technical delivery into architecture or client-facing strategy roles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate multiple approaches, articulate tradeoffs, make confident recommendations, and defend decisions under pressure., * Azure certifications or deep Azure-specific delivery experience; AWS or GCP backgrounds considered if skills translate to the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Experience at a Microsoft Gold Partner, Microsoft Solutions Partner, or boutique Microsoft-focused consulting firm.
  • Background at mid-sized digital transformation or enterprise technology consulting firms where architects maintain active client-facing responsibilities.
  • Exposure to both presales solutioning and post-sale delivery at large, complex enterprise organizations.
